There are more episodes of 'La Casa de Papel: Corea', but they have not yet seen the light on Netflix

One of Netflix's most famous and international series, The Paper House, has just been resurrected on the streaming platform just six months after its final outcome at the hands of its Asian version: The Paper House: Korea, a fiction set in the near future that picks up the witness of the one developed by Alex Pina and Esther Martínez Lobato to introduce us to a new Professor, Tokyo, Nairobi, Denver, Berlin and company but carrying out the biggest robbery ever perpetrated on the peninsula.

The expectation before its debut was remarkable and, although the series has not managed to overshadow the long-awaited debut of season 3 of The Umbrella Academy or unseat Stranger Things and Peaky Blinders from the top positions, the reality is that the story starring this new gang of red jumpsuit robbers has aroused the nostalgia of many and the curiosity of many others and quickly sneak into the top of the most popular.

La Casa de Papel Release date May 2, 2017 | 45 minutes Series : La Casa de Papel With Álvaro Morte, Úrsula Corberó, Úrsula Corberó, Úrsula Corberó, Úrsula Corberó Users 4.3 Streaming Comparisons between the characters of the original series and its successor and also at the plot level were assured and discovering what has remained and what has La Casa de Papel left aside: Korea has led a significant part of Netflix subscribers to devour it in a heartbeat. Six episodes between 65 and 80 minutes long that say goodbye in a 'cliffhanger' and that leave the door open for the debut of a second season on the platform.

Will The Paper House: Korea season 2? Well, it seems little risky to say 100% yes, since, from the beginning, the commission and subsequent production of 12 episodes of the Asian version of the unforgettable series starring Álvaro Morte and Úrsula Corberó was announced.

When the fiction was released in the catalog of the 'streaming' platform, only six episodes made up the first installment, so we can expect that sooner rather than later the debut of a second season, or second part, made up of the remaining six.

The plot of two seasons of the original version has been condensed into only 12 episodes [in our new version]", explained Yoo Ji-tae, the person in charge of embodying The Professor, in statements to 'Elle'. "We approached key plot points as needed. There is a certain pleasure in developing the fast-paced plot

For its part, the original series was also broadcast in several parts in its beginnings on Antena 3: A first of 9 episodes and a second of 6 that made up the complete series that would later come to Netflix to hit it internationally and enjoy a second life. Thus, the first stage of the original Money Heist consisted of 15 episodes, so its successor is shorter and, as its protagonist explained, condenses this first robbery more and at a faster pace.

Although we can count on six more episodes of La Casa de Papel: Corea seeing the light on Netflix sooner rather than later, nothing is known about the future plans of the series on the streaming platform. For now, the plan for The Professor continues and, if we learned anything from its predecessor, it is that the legendary band has the potential to star in great stories.
