'The House of the Dragon': We already know the new Drogon in the prequel to 'Game of Thrones'

 Game of Thrones came to an end in 2019 and George R.R. Martin hasn't finished writing The Winds of Winter yet, but HBO Max wants to keep the spirit of the A Song of Ice and Fire franchise alive with the premiere of House of the Dragon, the prequel series based on the book Fire and Blood.

The one who would be the new Drogon and who appears after the young princess Rhaenyra Targaryen (Milly Alcock) is Syrax, a female dragon with yellow scales and named after an ancient god of the Frankish Feud of Valyria. At just seven years old, Rhaenyra became a rider of this majestic dragon.


Rhaenyra Targaryen is the daughter of Viserys I Targaryen (Paddy Considine) and Aemma Arryn, the same one who died giving birth to her second child who also could not survive. She later remarried Alicent Hightower (Olivia Cooke), having four children: Aegon Targaryen (Tom Glynn-Carney), Halaena Targaryen, Aemond Targaryen (Ewan Mitchell), and Daeron Targaryen.


Jon Snow and his life without Khaleesi: This is the new sequel series to 'Game of Thrones' that HBO is preparing The story of The House of the Dragon follows the Targaryen family when they escape the destruction of Valyria to settle in Dragonstone, from where Aegon I conquered Westeros. His faithful hand is none other than Otto Hightower, whose daughter, Alicent Hightower, is considered to be one of the most beautiful women in the Seven Kingdoms raised in the Red Keep.


The first season consists of 10 episodes that will premiere on HBO Max on August 21.
